What: blooop is a typeface that uses the Josiah Bishop Design logo as inspiration.
Responsibilities: Conceptualized and created a working typeface with over 90 unique glyphs. Designed graphics displaying how the typeface can be used.
Goals: A beautiful working display typeface available for free in the public domain.
Design Process: blooop is a unique monospace typeface that features geometric sans serif characters to produce an otherworldly retrofuturistic presence. blooop was derived from the structure of the Josiah Bishop Design logo. The aim to be distinctive is achieved through each letter using the same width, contrast, and properties. blooop follows a strict set of rules to form its glyphs, not to weaken certain letters, but to showcase the originality and uniqueness of the typeface as a whole.
